Hello, I'm Yusuf.
I'm Sulaimon Yusuf, a full-stack and mobile engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria. I started as a graphic designer in 2010 and began writing code in 2016, so I care as much about how a product feels as how it's built.
Today I build production mobile and web products with React, React Native and Node.js: rider and driver apps, rewards platforms, delivery services and the dashboards that run them.

How I approach every product: start with the people using it, sweat the unhappy paths, and leave code the next engineer can move fast in.
Work with meThe user comes first.
Before writing code I ask who is going to use this, on what phone, on what network. A driver accepting a trip on a cheap Android phone has very different needs from an admin on a laptop.
“It works” is not the finish line.
Loading states, empty states, failed requests, slow connections. The happy path is half the job; the rest is what makes people trust the product.
Build for the next engineer.
Readable code, predictable folder structure and sensible naming, so whoever touches it next, including me in six months, can move fast without breaking things.

I started as a graphic designer in 2010. That background means I can read a design file properly, catch what's missing, and build interfaces that feel finished.
